This dam - daman game is a traditional game that was very popular in the old days or children of the past, and sadly nowadays it is very rare to find this game, especially in rural areas, the game is similar to chess, each player has to take turns running their pawns, the difference here is that there is no check math, there is only eating and being eaten.
Usually children in this game simply use chalk and then draw it on the floor. Then the first player uses stones and the second player uses broken roof tiles to make it different. In the game of checkers, all pawns can move the same, namely forward, backward, diagonally and sideways. Usually, to be able to eat a lot of opponents, you have to bait one of their pawns. When given bait, the opponent must eat it by jumping over the enemy. In this game, the loser is the one who runs out of pawns.
